Factors Related to Exclusive Breastfeeding in East Java – Indonesia

Exclusive Breast Feeding (EBF) is very crucial for the growth and development of toddlers in future, both physically mentally. The study aims to analyze factors related EBF East Java, Indonesia. analysis material was 2017 Indonesian Nutritional Status Monitoring, a cross-sectional survey. In obtained 3977 using multi-stage cluster random sampling process. used binary Logistic Regression tests interpret data. results show living cities have 0.951 times lower probability experiencing than residing rural areas. Toddler age (in months) one determinants EBF. All categories maternal marital status are more likely mothers who never married having an toddler. education levels better chance no children. Except senior high school category, which has significant relationship with incidence children under five also found toddler’s associated Finally, toddler boy 0.943 compared girl experience Java concluded that six variables were - Indonesia, namely residence, mother’s age, marital, education, gender.
